Quick summary

  • Who we are: PrintFlow: PDF Invoices (“PrintFlow”) is a Shopify app operated by PrintFlow, an independent developer based in Vietnam.
  • What we access: read-only access to your orders, customers and products, used only to create your documents.
  • What we never do: change your store, sell data, or use it for advertising.
  • Where it is stored: Amazon Web Services in the United States.
  • How long: while the app is installed. After you uninstall, your store’s data is deleted when Shopify sends the shop/redact request (about 48 hours later).
  • Your rights: write to support@printinvoices.site.

Key terms

  • App: the PrintFlow: PDF Invoices Shopify app (PrintFlow in Shopify admin) and this website, printinvoices.site.
  • Merchant: the Shopify store that installs the App.
  • Merchant data: information about the Merchant and its staff (store name, domain, contact email, plan).
  • Customer personal data: information about the Merchant’s customers that appears on orders.
  • We / us: PrintFlow, the operator of the App.

1. Our role

  • For customer personal data, the Merchant is the controller and we act as a processor: we use it only to provide the App, on the Merchant’s instructions. We meet Shopify’s protected customer data requirements.
  • For merchant data, we are the controller.

2. Data the App collects

The App asks Shopify for read-only access. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in your store.

3. Why we use it

  • To create invoices, packing slips, credit notes and other documents, and the e-invoice files you export.
  • To check documents against Shopify’s order totals and country rules.
  • To send document emails to your customers when you turn on automatic emails.
  • To count documents for your plan and keep an audit log.
  • To answer support requests, fix problems and keep the service secure.

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about individuals.

4. Storage, service providers and transfers

Provider Purpose Location
Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3) Hosting, database, generated files, encrypted backups United States (us-east-1)
Amazon SES Sending document emails you enable United States
Shopify Platform, authentication, billing Shopify’s infrastructure
Cloudflare This website, DNS, forwarding email sent to our addresses Global network

Data from the EU, UK or other countries is transferred to the United States. These providers protect such transfers with the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses in their data processing terms.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (encrypted disks and storage). Only the operator has access to production systems.

5. Retention and deletion

  • While the App is installed: as long as needed to provide the service.
  • When you uninstall: the App’s access to your store is revoked at once. Your settings, templates, issued documents and files are kept for about 48 hours, so reinstalling in that window restores them. When Shopify then sends the shop/redact request, all of them are deleted. Download any documents you must keep before that happens. We keep only the invoice-number counters (no personal data), so that if you reinstall later, new numbers continue from the last one and never repeat a number you have already issued.
  • Customer erasure requests (customers/redact): personal data in that customer’s documents is removed. Invoice numbers and amounts are kept, because issued invoices are accounting records the Merchant may be legally required to keep. Cached PDFs for that customer are deleted.
  • Customer data requests (customers/data_request): we prepare an export of that customer’s documents for the Merchant.
  • Backups and temporary files are deleted automatically within 30 days.
  • Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you, and at most 2 years after the last message.

6. Security incidents

If we become aware of a breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected Merchants without undue delay and, where required, within 72 hours, with what happened and what we are doing about it.

7. Cookies and this website

printinvoices.site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking individual visitors. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your rights

EU, UK and similar laws (GDPR): you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, and to receive it in a portable format. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): you can ask what personal information we hold and ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

Customers of a store should contact that store first, because the Merchant controls their data. We help the Merchant respond.

Send requests to support@printinvoices.site. We reply within 30 days.

9. Shopify’s terms

The App uses Shopify’s APIs under Shopify’s own terms. Shopify’s handling of your store data is described in Shopify’s privacy policy.

10. Children

The App is a business tool and is not intended for children under 16.

11. Changes

We post any change on this page and update the date above. For significant changes, we tell Merchants in the App or by email at least 30 days in advance.
